'Monofilament' - What does it mean? When you see the words 'monofilament construction' they mean the hairs have been knotted by hand, rather than by machine. As you would expect, this is a more expensive process and all Monofilament wigs are considerably more expensive to buy. Their advantage is that they can be re-styled, either by yourself or a hair stylist, allowing you to do things like move the wig's natural parting, so you can 'ring the changes' on your look. All machine-wefted wigs are basically 'fixed' by the manufacture process in the style you see shown and cannot really be adapted to another. Check out the greatly expanded HENRY MARGU Wigs section. We have also added several more of the latest NORIKO styles, some of which are available in their new 'Gradient Colour' choices where the colour changes from root to tip. This is a very up-to-the-minute look that closely resembles the hair-tinting style many younger women favour (and pay small fortunes to hair colourists for!).
